My whole family love a good Healthy nut ball for afternoon tea. I make lots of different ones all the time. These are a favourite among the family.
There’s just something about chocolate and orange mixed together. These two ingredients make such a beautiful pair. Now Truffles are usually made with processed chocolate, but my version uses dutch-processed cacao powder. Dutch processed cacao lower’s acidity, deepends the colour and produces a rich smooth flavour, much richer than normal cacao. It also really enhances the flavour of the orange in the recipe and completes the full-bodied flavour of the truffle.
I use wild orange essential oil by doTerra. This oil is cold pressed from the rind and can be taken internally as well as diffusing and applying to the body. This oil has been used for Anxiety, Digestion, Fear, Heart Palpitations, Insomnia, Menopause, Nervousness, Uplifting, Withdrawal, Anticancer, Antidepressant, Antiseptic and much much more. Now for these truffles they make them super delicious with there rich orange flavour. You can only purchase doTerra essential oils from a consultant, which I am, so I can buy them direct for you or you can purchase off my website http://www.mydoterra.com/nourishedsoul
