Some days are more challenging than others or have more dark than light in them, and that’s just life. However it’s how we deal with these challenges that really makes the difference. In my past when a negative challenge would come my way, I would fall apart, moan and groan, get angry and let it ruin my day. These days I turn it upside down and turn the dark to light, move forward and don’t let it take the happiness and gratitude away from me, from how I awoke that morning.
This takes practice over time. Next time so,etching negative happens, try no to react instantly, take 3 deep breathes and get out of your head and into your heart and then your reaction will be completely different. The more you don’t react straight away, the more you can calm your mind and realise that the bad reaction will do you no good, only harm. You then in time find yourself no reacting and just breathing away the negative and moving forward calmly.
