Anyone feeling abdominal pain, nuasea or vomitting, diarrhoea, gas or bloating, stomach pain, tired, bad skin, run down or just off in general? Well maybe you have a parasite. These are just some of the common symptons and a lot of us can have a parasite without even knowing, from tap water, poor hygiene, international travel or eating meat and seafood especially raw like sashimi.
These worms and weird parasites that live in our bodies, eat the food we feed them. Every so often we all need to cleanse them out of our bodies. We can do this by colonics, colon cleanse fast’s, herbal tonics and essential oils to name a few.
About 2 years ago, I started feeling really unwell each and everyday. I constantly fely nauseous, needed to go to the toliet about 10 times a day, anxious, and was extremely fatigued. If I ate red meat for dinner I could NOT get out of bed for days (hence why after time I became vegetarian). For months I went on and on wondering what was wrong with me. Doctors couldn’t find anything and were starting to think I had a bad disease. One day someone suggested doing a stool test which I did and it showed up I had a parasite. (I was lucky it showed up, as sometimes parasites don’t show up in these stool tests). Yah, atleast I knew the answer to why I was feeling so off. The parasite I had was one of the harder ones to kill and lived in my small intestine and I was told could have been from the sushi I loved eating or the tank water I drank from the farm I visited. Doctor’s told me antibiotics would sort me out, but after 5 lots of them and me feeling worse and worse each time, I decided to do some research on it and book into a bio chemist who specialised in this type of a thing.
Whilst researching and finding out that anti biotics were the worst thing for parasites and that they actually grow stronger and bigger from them, I started my natural health journey into healing myself from this buggar I called Blasto. I started doing colonics, some water fasting, took strong herbs from the health food store, started using essential oils internally and externally and I did this parasite smoothie for 5 days every 3 weeks and found it worked really well.
So here’s the recipe.
1 Tbsp of fresh papaya seeds (these are very bitter like pepper corns, scoop them straight out of the paypaya and blend well)
1 cup of coconut water
Blend these two ingredients together first as you want the seeds to be chopped up as that’s were all the goodness is. If your blender doesn’t break them you may need to break them first, then do so in a mortar and pestle.
Add to the blender 1/2 papaya
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds (these are particularly good for paralyzing worms in the lower intestine.)
Add 1/2 small pineapple (rich in digestive enzymes like bromelain that can have an anti-parasitic effect and improve the intestinal environment)
2 Tbsp desiccated coconut (great for purging parasites)
1 Tbsp organic virgin coconut oil (the lauric acid in coconuts is converted to the compound monolaurin in the digestive tract, which can help rid the body of protozea, ringworm and giardia parasites. It can even help treat candida as well as parasites in your intestinal tract)
Blend all of these ingredients really well, adding more coconut water if you need.
When doing this cleanse you should not eat anything when you awake, then mix up this smoothie fresh. Don’t eat anything for a few hours afterwards to let the smoothie do it’s job as best it can. then around lunch you can eat and drink as usual, however best to eat mainly fresh wholefoods such as fruit and vegetables.
