Who didn’t love chocolate crackles growing up? Well I didn’t love them, they were always too sweet and rich for me, however they were always at parties and are still today, so I have come up with a slice that is the perfect sweetness for myself and my family.
Ingredients;-
– 1 cup of almonds
– 10 whole medjool dates (pitted)
– 1/2 cup melted coconut oil
– 3/4 cup shredded coconut
– 1/4 cup of Naked Chocolat Mylk Powder by The Healthy Chef.com
– 2 Tbsp organic honey
– 1 cup natural rice puffs
Blend all ingredients (except the rice puffs) together in your thermomix or blender till you get your desired consistency and then fold through the rice puffs and set on the fridge in a square pan or roll into balls and place in paper cups to look like chocolate crackle cups.
note- you can use pure cacao instead of the Naked Chocolat if you want to, however sometimes some kids find cacao too rich to start off with and so I have found this is a great healthy dairy free, sugar free, plant based alternative. You can buy it online and it is great sprinkled on your favourite ice cream or used to make hot chocolate.
Hi Sophia,
I just made this slice today and the whole family loved it. I love all of your simple, healthy but oh so yummy recipes!! You’re a talented woman!
Lots of love to the family
