I love it when my kid’s get invited to there friend’s house’s for a playdate as they have an absolute ball and this is what makes great childhood memories. I love even more when I know they are getting fed deliecious wholesome healthy foods.
My son (hudson) went to his friend’s house the other day and his mum made them a delicious raw chocolate brownie slice that Hudson never stopped talking about so I was lucky enough that the mum shared this recipe with me and here it is.
– 1 cup walnuts
– 1 cup almonds
– 2 1/2 cups medjool dates (pitted)
– 3/4 cup pure raw cacao
– 1/2 cup dessicated coconut
– 3 tsp melted coconut oil (this is teaspoons, not tablespoons which I accidently did the first time I made it)
Blend all ingredients together in your thermomix or blender to get a smooth consistency and then push down into a tray and set in the fridge. Once set cut and serve.
I used a heart cookie cutter to make mine heart shaped raw brownies.
